Cambridge Branch

Our weekly term time consort playing evenings run from Wednesday Wednesday 19th September 2007

These are held in the Recital Room, the Music Block, Chesterton Community College, Gilbert Road, Cambridge, Wednesdays, 7.30pm to 9.30pm The meetings are led by a conductor and music is provided but please bring a music stand.

The branch also has a small library of music to borrow and has details of other playing days and courses which may interest you.

The branch has recently been awarded a grant from "Awards For All" to purchase two great basses and a contra bass. These instruments will be available for use by members and the local youth recorder groups with whom we have contact.

If you want to know more about the branch and our activities then please contact one of the committee or else come along on a Wednesday evening. Visitors are always welcome, whether a member of another SRP branch or not.

Cambridge Branch are taking part in a concert with the Moonlight Mandolins on Friday March 7th 2008 at 8.00pm at Arbury Baptist Church, Arbury Road, Cambridge.

Cambridge Branch is hosting a Playing Day, led by Sandra Foxall, at Landbeach Village Hall on Saturday 7th June from 11.00am to 4.00pm, to which all are welcome.
