HOW TO GET THERE

BY CAR
Major trunk roads to Felixstowe are the A12 from London and the South and the A14 from the Midlands and the North. Follow A14 east of Ipswich until you reach a roundabout (nearly 9 miles from the Orwell Bridge). Take first exit (straight on) - A154 signed Felixstowe Town Centre. At next roundabout turn right (2nd exit) into Garrison Lane, signed Town Centre. At the traffic lights turn right, then take 3rd left after 200yards - Seaton Road. At the end of this road, the school entrance is in front of you.

BY RAIL
Orwell High School is 20 minutes walk from Felixstowe Station or 5 minutes by taxi. Trains from London reach Ipswich in just over an hour with connections to Felixstowe. The main East Coast line (from Scotland and the North) connects with an Ipswich service from Peterborough.

BY COACH.
National Express operates daily services to Ipswich and Felixstowe – check with your local operator, travel agent or tourist information centre. BY AIR London Stansted is 60 miles from Felixstowe. Air Direct (01279 681800) operates a direct coach service between Ipswich and Stansted Airport every 2 hours, every day, day and night – then bus, train or taxi to Felixstowe.

BY SEA
Stena Line (08705 707070) operates a twice daily service to Harwich (31 miles from Ipswich, 43 miles from Felixstowe) from the Hook of Holland. Regular services to Harwich from Esjberg Denmark are operated by DFDS (08705 333111).
