We normally meet monthly on Saturday afternoons 13.00 - 15.30, with a refreshment break in the middle.

We play a wide range of music of varying standards.

All recorder players beyond the Beginner stage are welcome, with scope for all sizes of instruments from the Sopranino to the magnificent Great Bass. Before the main meetings, from 11.30 there is an optional informal session for those wishing to take part

SRP meetings are a good opportunity to meet other players in the area. Our members are also involved in a variety of other Recorder playing activities and new players are always welcomed to these various groups. We often share transport to attend both Branch meetings, and other SRP activities as well as the SRP National Festival (to be held in Cheddar in 2011).

Our Branch subscription for 2010/2011 is £27, this includes membership of the National SRP and a subscription to the quarterly Recorder Magazine. Visitors (£3.50 or £2.50 for members of other branches) are always welcome at our meetings so do come and get to know us. Contact the Branch Secretary for further details.
