The branch has about 36 members though we usually have any number between 20 and 30 at any meeting. Visitors and new members are most welcome (please bring own stand and recorders!)
We meet every third Saturday of the month (2-5pm) except August (no meeting) and this year (2011) our December meeting will be the 2nd Saturday.

Our music ranges from Renaissance to Modern. We usually have at least 3 to 4 players to a part so newer members can choose what part they would like to play…..we often move around anyway during sessions.
Venue
We now meet at The Martin Luther Church, Clarence Street, Newcastle upon Tyne NE2 1YH. Click here for a map. The church is on the end of Copland Terrace where it meets Clarence Street. It is up the road from The Biscuit Factory and a short walk from Manors Metro Station. If coming by the Metro…cross the main road (New Bridge Street) at the traffic lights and walk up past the church (Christ Church)…continue along Simpson Terrace and pass the pub (Queens Arms). The street now changes it’s name to Copland Terrace…..continue to the end of the street and our venue is just past the last house on the left. The church building has a small car parking space in front of it.
