Some significant recorders available for sale from private collection, for more detailed information:
- Cylindrical alto in G (A466) by Bob Marvin with two centre pieces (meantone and Pythagorean) in boxwood (1977). Very rare and his current waiting list extends to 2017. Excellent condition. £1300
- Also by Bob Marvin (2004) boxwood Ganassi alto in G (A415) rarely come up for sale - wonderful tone. Price on application.
- A415 alto after Denner in grenadilla by Michael Grinter in mint condition (2005). Powerful tone - excellent solo instrument or for trio sonatas with violin/oboe etc. £1200
- A440 alto after Denner by Jaqueline Sorel in coromandel (a sort of ebony) with thumb-bush. Hardly used - currently £1400 new. £1100.
