The branch has around 25 members. In addition to our monthly meetings we have a trip to Ingatestone Hall in the summer to play in the Long Gallery for visitors to the house, we invite a visiting conductor each year and usually organise a day course or playing day. On 1st October we were delighted to welcome Ian Wilson of the acclaimed Flautadors Recorder Quartet. Ian conducted a variety of pieces including dances by Holborne and Brade, Delius’ summer night on the river, arrangements of Moon River and Moonlight Serenade and Warlock’s Capriol Suite.
