ABRSM’s Woodwind syllabus 2014-2017 features revised repertoire lists for all instruments.
The repertoire lists, selected in consultation with our panel of woodwind specialists, feature exciting and inspirational new pieces while retaining a core of favourites. There are no changes to scales or sight-reading requirements, or to aural tests.
Highlights include:
- An exhilarating Concerto di Camera by Telemann (Treble Grades 6 & 7)
- Francesco Mancini’s appealing Sonata No. 2 (Treble Grade 8)
- Animal- and bird-inspired collections from Elizabeth Cooper (Descant Grades 2 & 3, Treble Grades 2 & 5)
- Alan Davis’ Blackbird and Little Owl portraits from his Cantus Avium et Volatus (Descant and Treble Grades 4 & 5)
