The Flanders Recorder Quartet will be performing Bach and Telemann in St Cecilia’s Hall in Edinburgh on Saturday 17th March 2018, as part of the Georgian Concert Society series. This is probably your very last chance to hear one of the world’s leading professional recorder consorts perform live in the UK, before they disband.
Most of the quartet will be staying on in Scotland for a workshop on Sunday 18th March. This will be organised jointly by the Early Music Forum of Scotland and the Edinburgh branch of the Society of Recorder Players. The workshop will include sessions for both intermediate and advanced players, and there will be opportunities for individual and group lessons. Full details will be circulated as soon as they are confirmed.
