The Durham and Newcastle Branches have launched the full programme for the 2019 National Festival, and booking is now open. This year’s festival, to be held in the stunning Victorian buildings of Ushaw College just outside Durham, offers playing sessions with a wide range of music and conductors; masterclasses and workshops; the finals of a new composers competition; and a new fringe festival. Guests at the festival include Joris van Goethem, Piers Adams, Jonathan Dove, BLOCK4 and rising stars of the recorder world, and the festivities open with a concert by Red Priest.
On the festival pages, you can find details of all the repertoire for the playing sessions, suggested accommodation, more programme details, and the booking form.
There are early bird discounts for all bookings made before 31 January.2019 Festival Pages
