Cornwall Branch seek new Musical Director

The Cornwall Branch of The Society of Recorder Players are looking for a new Musical Director from September 2019.  We meet on the third Saturday afternoon of every month at Carnon Downs Village Hall, and draw members from all over Cornwall.  We enjoy playing a variety of music spanning the time from the medieval period to the twenty first century.  Playing afternoons usually attract between fifteen and twenty five people, playing recorders from Contrabass to Sopranino.

We are looking for a committed musician who can prepare music for our meetings, (we have a branch music library) conduct rehearsals and share their enthusiasm for the recorder and its music.  We would like you to lead us forward whilst still including playing opportunities for the newer and less experienced players amongst us.
