For Sale: Kung bass in good condition. £520 ovno

This is Marion Panzetta’s Kung Bass for sale, in its attaché case.
I’m trying to find a home for it on behalf of her daughter Maria, and have it here in south Essex.

It is direct blow, straight, wooden, keyed bass with no lower F# key. Sling and grease are in the case. In good condition as far as I can see, EMS have suggested a sight unseen valuation of £400-£600.  A fair price would be £520 ovno.  New wooden basses can be £1500!  This instrument is not for people with a short reach…

If you are interested in trying the instrument, I’ll bring it to the October meeting of Suffolk SRP on Sat 19th October 2024 .
Arrangements are also in hand for it to be taken to the October Recorder Festival in Bury St Edmunds on Friday 25th  October 2024 for the weekend.

Other possibilities are at Easter Early Music Course in April 2025.
Happy for alternative suggestions to be emailed to me regarding trying the Kung bass.
Please email me to tell me of your interest with Kung bass, in the subject line.

Karen Mortley.
