Course overview | Make your own professional wooden recorder with expert recorder maker, Tim Cranmore.

During this 5 day course you will be involved in making the tools required for the bore, turning the profile from drawings, drilling the tone holes, making the head-joint and cutting the windway, block fitting, and tuning and voicing the recorder.

With only two students on the course, you are assured dedicated attention as required.

Instrument type | Students will have the choice of making a number of baroque models, eg. Alto recorder after T. Stanesby jnr., A440 or A415, voice flute, A440 or A415, or tenor in C, A440.
