Join Ensemble Hesperi for a unique dance workshop with Highland dance expert, Kathleen Gilbert. Kathleen will lead participants through a selection of simple dances, teaching some basic steps and introducing everyone to some of the fascinating history of Highland Dance. The workshop will be accompanied by live eighteenth century music from members of the ensemble by Scottish Baroque composers Robert Bremner and John Reid. Highland dancing is a great workout - so wear comfortable shoes and clothing, and bring a bottle of water!
