A fun day of playing for young recorder players from Grade 3 upwards at George Watson's College. Players who are not quite ready to join in a full NYRO day or have not reached the minimum grade standard are welcome to join us for the afternoon session.

£35 for full day. £15 afternoon only
The day is aimed at recorder players aged 8 to 25, with a playing standard from Grade 3 up to Diploma level. Applications from recorder teachers are also welcomed.
Players who have not reached the required standard, or are not ready for a full day's playing, can attend the afternoon session only at a cost of £15.
There will be massed playing sessions, group work (according to playing standard) and tips on technique.
Come and be inspired, make new friends (or meet up with old friends) and have fun!
Teachers who bring 5 or more pupils can come for free!
Those coming for the whole day should bring a packed lunch. Squash and biscuits will be supplied at all break times.
Final details will be sent out by email about one week before the event. Please bring all your recorders with you and a labelled music stand.
Those coming for the afternoon session only should aim to arrive at 1.30 p.m.
