The Society of Recorder Players is pleased to announce the release of a CD of the music of Brian Bonsor. The disc has been recorded in recognition of Brian’s huge contribution to the world of recorder playing and teaching and it has been sponsored by the SRP.

The CD was recorded in August 2012 and played by the Amici Recorder Ensemble conducted by Helen Hooker. The ensemble comprises thirty of the country’s finest orchestral recorder players and they are joined by James Letham, a pianist with whom Brian played regularly.  All of the performers gave their time and skills free of charge and all proceeds from sales of the CD will go to the Society of Recorder Players.

This CD, which contains many of Brian’s best known compositions and arrangements, will no doubt be the perfect Christmas present for any recorder player or recorder aficionado!
