The Palisander recorder quartet are coming to Scotland in April! They will be leading a workshop for recorder players in the picturesque town of Dollar, nestled at the foot of the Ochil hills near Stirling. We’d be delighted to welcome recorder players from across the UK. The workshop is on Saturday 20th April and is being organised by the Early Music Forum of Scotland. Palisander are also performing in Aberfoyle on the afternoon of Sunday 21st April – a great reason for a weekend visit to this lovely part of Scotland. For further information click here and register online at https://forms.gle/qamrKxiCAHFmxLkK8.

For the full programme of meetings see the Calendar. Visitors from other branches are welcome, and prospective new members can try us out for a few meetings before committing themselves to join. Please bring your instruments and a music stand.

The Branch’s joint Musical Directors are Anne Martin and Peter Wraith.

Music is normally provided for playing at meetings, and can only be borrowed if signed for in the book.  Enquiries should be addressed to the Librarian.

One-to-a-part playing is also encouraged. One-to-a-part groups meet separately, usually in each other’s homes. They are invited to perform to the branch, family and friends at the Christmas Evening and Summer Evening concerts.
