Are you looking for a challenge? Ever wished you could play in an orchestra but thought you would never have the opportunity? Well,here is your chance.
EROS will be embarking on its 19th season in October 2026 with Moira Usher, our conductor, at Bentley Village Hall near Ipswich in Suffolk.
We are now able to take further applicants for 2026/27
We are looking for competent recorder players (of at least Grade 6 standard or equivalent) who would enjoy
playing challenging music and would also be prepared to PRACTISE! You must be able to play both F and C instruments.
You would need to be available to play in the morning of (usually) the 3rd Saturday of each month between
October and June.
Our first meeting will be on Saturday 17 October 2026 from 9.45 to 12.45.
And then 21 November, 19 December.
Dates for 2027 are 16 January, 20 February, 20 March, 17 April, 15 May, 19 June (Concert) tba, 17 July (playing for fun).
Concert at St Andrews Eaton, 41 Church Lane, Eaton, Norwich NR4 6NW.
Membership is £35 per annum to cover cost of hall and music etc.
