The National Centre for Early Music
NCEM York, and Online
The York Early Music Christmas Festival was created in 1997 to introduce audiences to the extraordinary wealth of music associated with Advent, Christmas and Epiphany, from the Medieval to the Baroque, intertwined with the sagas, stories and tales of the north.
This year things will have to be done rather differently: you can attend in person at the NCEM from 4th–12th December, but there are also opportunities to join in online. Both Joglaresa (8th Dec) and The York Waits (9th Dec) will be streamed live; and York Christmas at Home - a series of concerts - will run online from 11th– 13th December.
