A series of 4 weekly sessions, starting March 15, until April 5.
The repertoire will begin with a duo for 2 trebles by Francesco Geminiani. We will look in detail at the background, the style, and the techniques needed, with reference to Geminiani’s Treatise of 1751 and “the Ornaments of Expression necessary ….. to express the Intention of the Melody.”
Music will be provided in advance.
