Delivered in a lively and supportive manner, this course has at its heart the need for good technique to really enjoy playing the recorder. Over four weeks the one and a half hour sessions will explore: posture and hold; breath control and tone; fingering and articulation. Each stage has specific tips to aid practise. We will apply these techniques to two contrasting pieces, one baroque and one 21stC.
