A conference to discuss issues surrounding the recorder's role in education

Led by RBC Recorder Department staff Annabel Knight and Chris Orton, this unique event is aimed at specialist recorder teachers and music educators. Central to the day will be discussions around the current provision of recorder teaching at primary level, the relevance of the recorder as pupils progress into secondary and higher education, and dealing with negative perceptions of it as a professional instrument.
