Free open session for potential new members

This event is designed to encourage players who would like to try playing in a group, but who may be unsure about whether their playing ability will be good enough, or who are simply apprehensive about playing with strangers.
It will be split into two halves, both led my our experienced Musical Director. Olly Smith. The first part will be relatively easy pieces, then after tea and a chat we will resume with music that is a little bit more challenging, typical of the regular Saturday sessions of our mixed ability group.
No pre-booking is required, just come and meet the group with your recorder(s) and a music stand if you have one. Tea/coffee and biscuits will be provided at the break.
A warm welcome can be guaranteed. Players deciding to join SRP for the first time will be offered a discounted SRP annual fee covering the rest of our playing year (January-August).
