Ensemble Hesperi playing day

Back by popular request, join Ensemble Hesperi (Mary-Jannet Leith, recorders - Magdalena Loth-Hill, violin - Florence Petit, cello - Thomas Allery, harpsichord) for a day of music making.
They will be concentrating on composers of the Scottish baroque with some of their contemporaries from England and further afield. The morning is for recorders while the afternoon is for any early instrument (A440) as well.
As well as a chance to play some unusual music in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, the day offers a chance to hear how a professional ensemble approaches the preparation of music for performance.
