Rehearsals are every second Wednesday 7.15-9.30pm.  There is a “tea and biscuits” break around 8.30pm.
Our rehearsals take place at Sherbrooke Mosspark Parish Church in Dumbreck on the southside of Glasgow.

The Glasgow Recorder Players perform at a number of venues in and around Glasgow. This is not a compulsory activity, members volunteer to do so, but we find it is a good way of publicising the instrument. We have performed in the Burrell Museum most recently on 4th November 2023. Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Sherbrooke St. Gilbert’s are other venues in which we have performed.
A quartet of members recently performed at the Burns Lassies Club in Ayrshire in September 2026 Â with a view to introducing a wider audience to the range of instruments.
The Scottish Recorder Orchestra
Some members of the Glasgow Recorder Players are also members of the Scottish Recorder Orchestra. The players gather from all over Scotland, from as far north as Inverness down to Glasgow, Strathclyde, Edinburgh and the Borders.
