The Orkney branch of the S.R.P normally meet on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month. We play anything from modern music to things from the 13th and 14th centuries. Our choice of music for each meeting depends on the number of people attending. If you are thinking to join us at a meeting while visiting Orkney we can arrange meetings on other dates if our usual dates do not fit in with your arrangements. Due to the unique nature of how things work in Orkney we tend to meet in each other’s houses as the numbers are small enough to allow that to happen. We enjoy the social side as much as the playing and close our meetings with a small supper supplied by the members.
