Our meetings are held at the church of St Marien and St Georg, 10 Sandwich Street, London WC1H 9PL. The church is warm and has good lighting – very important, particularly in the winter months. There are also doors opening onto a small courtyard. Visitors should note that the church administration requires the front door to remain locked – please aim to arrive by 2.15pm (playing starts at 2.30pm) so that our playing is not disturbed. There is an intercom system over to the right of the door – press the bell icon and you will be buzzed in as soon as someone is able to get to the panel inside the church (listen for the noise from the door as it unlocks, and then pull to open).
There is disabled access to the building, with a lift down to the main playing area. However, this uses a different door for access from street level, and anyone requiring the use of the lift should let us know at least one day before any given meeting, so that we can arrange access.
Transport. The church is situated about 6-8 minutes’ walk from Kings Cross St Pancras mainline and tube stations (factoring in waiting to cross at the traffic lights!). Many bus routes pass along Euston Road, and Russell Square tube station is also very close.
