For intermediate players, a new recorder consort in Richmond (West London) is starting in September. It will be informal and collaborative, while still exploring technique, elements of HIP and a wide repertoire.

Tabea Debus and Caroline Jones have created this new, small course for advanced and intermediate players. Technique, ensemble, interpretation, recorder orchestra and one-to-a-part consort playing. Technique pieces will be sent out in advance to study. Tim Cranmore will join us to give a talk on "Care of your wooden recorders".

Monmouth Recorder Course is for a maximum of thirty players.
Tabea and Caroline aim to create a supportive and friendly atmosphere where each member feels confident to explore new things.
Existing consorts are welcome to attend.
This is a non-residential course, however, Monmouth has good hotels including, The Kings Head Hotel, Punch House and Premier Inn.
Lunch, dinner and tea/coffee are included in the course price.
