The Scottish Recorder Course was formed under the direction of Brian Bonsor, in 1980 and attracts players of all recorders from sopranino to contra bass.

The course offers a wide variety of ensemble playing at intermediate and advanced levels. Tutorial groups consist of players of similar standards with some instruction in playing technique.

The social aspect of the course is important and there is plenty opportunity to meet like minded people and make new friends. Time is allowed to explore the beautiful, historic town of St. Andrews. Or you can join the hardy group who brave the North Sea for a quick dip!
