Winchester by train from Southampton Airport Parkway station or via M27/M3 (Cathedral, Round Table in Great Hall, river Itchen, Winnall Moors nature reserve, National Trust Mill). Southampton by train from Southampton Airport Parkway station to Southampton Central or via M27, M271 with parking near West Quay (West Quay shopping, Ocean Village to eat). Tourist information is available here. Southampton Tourist Information Office is a virtual office, it has no phone.

Portsmouth & Southsea by train from Eastleigh station or by M27/M275 but parking in Portsmouth and Southsea is not easy (Mary Rose Museum, D-Day Museum (re-opens after refurbishment in Spring 2018); Gunwharf Quay shopping). More information is available here.
