Meetings are 2nd Saturday of the month except for August when  there is no meeting. Important notice: June and September meetings have had to be changed to the first Saturday – June 1st and September 21st as Park Hall have just changed the bookings.

 Meeting times: Doors open just after 2pm. Ready to start playing at 2:30pm ending at 5pm with a short break for a drink and a biscuit

Full membership £50 of which £25 goes to the SRP

Associate membership, where a player already belongs to the SRP through membership of another branch, £25

Members and associate members pay no money when they attend an ordinary meeting. Visitors pay £6 each visit.

New members joining the SRP for the first time after 1st January 2024 receive a 50% discount until 31st August 2024

If you  book a place with me for an ordinary meeting, we know how many parts we need and which different instruments will be available, how many chairs and how many to cater for in the break. However if you decide to come at the last minute then please just turn up but not if it is a Playing Day.

Gloria Pevy will conduct us for the first time.  Gloria studied recorder with Philip Thorby at Trinity College of Music. Since graduating in the mid 1980s, she has worked as a performer, adjudicator and teacher having decided at the age of nine that she wanted to pursue a career in music!
